Fantasy farm interiors

A Featherdown Farm stay is basically a stylist’s dream holiday. You get to camp out and play house in a cute rustic cabin with a REAL bed, in the middle of a pretty meadow.

Surrounded by nature, you can pop to the farmer for fresh eggs, veg, and milk – far more romantic than nipping to Tesco Metro – and you cook your meals on a traditional wood-burning stove. It’s the ultimate escape to the country, and a great way to unwind from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Leafing through the new Cabbages and Roses At Home With Country book, I spotted these beautiful Featherdown images shot in the Hampshire cabin, and just had to share them with you!

If you’re not based in the UK, don’t despair… Featherdown Farms are in Holland, Germany, France and now the USA, too.

The floral fabrics from Cabbages and Roses look right at home in this vintage-style interior. Oh, to be skipping across a field in the sunshine, gathering wild flowers to fill a vintage pail with today rather than sitting at a messy desk in a London office, sipping cold coffee. SIGH. – Ellie
